We are learning to post a comment!

Room 2 are learning to leave a comment on someones blog. We all had a turn yesterday to read someone elses blog and then leave a comment and post. It is new learning for us and Mrs King was really proud how she was able to show just 3 people and then we taught each other. We are now learning to check our spelling before we post the comment because it is important that the audience can read the message we leave. Would you like to comment back to us? Getting Connected

Hi there Room 8 and 17
At Rotokawa School this term our inquiry learning is called Let's get Connected. It's all about finding out what it means to be connected, what skills we use and finding different ways to connect with others. This Wednesday the whole school all slpit into different interest groups to connect with new children in the school and to learn about something that interests us. In Room 2 we are now joining up with other children to learn how to mosaic, dance, drama, gardening, bugs, dissection of appliances and mask making. We look forward to showing you some of our learning. This picture is Mrs King's mosaic class.

Zakumi Has Been Home To Stay With Us

We have just used voicethread for the first time. Animata was incharge of showing others how to record on voicethread. We were reading from Zakumi's diary. Have a listen to our recounts.

Room 17 - Roimata's Cloak.

Room 17 - Roimata's Cloak.

We are reading Roimata's Cloak over today and tomorrow. We are designing and making kakahu (cloaks)
to replace Roimata's kakahu. This is part of our integrated arts and we would love to share our learning and adventures. It is going to be a learning curve and adventure for both the kids and me. We would love your comments as we send pictures and video of our journey!!
